Fujian Pingtan Dalian 240,000 kW offshore wind farm cable survey project

　　Dalian offshore wind Farm in Pingtan, Fujian Province plans to carry out trenching construction after submarine cable, and the spatial distribution characteristics of existing submarine cable routing in the offshore wind farm should be obtained before construction. Our company undertook this project to investigate the spatial status of the submarine cable, including the routing trend of the submarine cable, the characteristics of the submarine cable burial, and the submarine terrain characteristics of the submarine cable routing area. In the process of implementation, a variety of measurement equipment such as satellite station differential positioning system, multi-beam sounding system, and side-scan sonar system are adopted to work together, overcoming the difficulties of frequent traffic of engineering ships in the project area, large tidal range, large wind and wave impact, and high safety risk coefficient of water operation, improving the quality of data collection, and providing accurate and reliable results for the client. Through the coordination of the operation mode of the operation ship, the field collection days were shortened, the ship costs were saved, and the quality, schedule and cost were effectively controlled, which was commended by the client.
